In 2001, with the support of my family, I embarked on an exciting journey of transformation. Transitioning from a career in biochemistry to early childhood education and overseeing all aspects of preschool operations was a significant shift—but one that filled me with excitement and purpose.
This journey has been nothing short of remarkable, filled with diverse experiences, countless stories, and cherished memories. It has also been a path of continuous growth and future aspirations. Our preschool is more than just a workplace; it is an extension of my family—a place where passion meets profession.
Along the way, I have had the privilege of working with extraordinary, dedicated teachers whose loyalty, commitment, and respect have been invaluable. Mrs. Meghan, my trusted colleague since 2011, embodies dedication, serving as an assistant director, teacher, and even stepping into roles like plumber, carpenter, and cook when needed. Together, we form an exceptional team, driven by our shared love for the school and its mission.

As the Director of My Room to Grow Preschool, I am honored to be known simply as Mrs. Meghan. It fills me with immense pride and a deep sense of responsibility to represent our preschool.
My journey with My Room to Grow began in February 2011 when I joined as a lead teacher. What started as just another job quickly became something much more meaningful—it became my second home.
Over the years, alongside my husband, Randy, and our beloved fur babies, we’ve made Poway our home, and My Room to Grow has become an integral part of our lives.
The staff at My Room to Grow aren’t just colleagues; they’re family. The families we serve have become dear friends, often feeling like an extension of our own. Watching our preschool community grow has been an incredible joy.
